A Truck to Consider about, the 2016 Nissan Titan XD

There were some mixed responses when the 2016 Nissan Titan XD was first introduced during Detroit international Motor Show 2015. Some people said that it was pretty good and solid, while some were displaying tough criticism to the manufacturer as well as the ride. Well, this is basically normal response. People tend to criticize during the first introduction, but they tend to soften up and more welcoming when they see the real ride – no more prototype model anymore. The same thing happened to this Titan XD when it was displayed during Supercar Sunday event.

New Nissan Titan Truck Review

Attention Grabber
It is not hard to see why this 2016 Nissan Titan XD is getting a lot of attention. With attractive bright yellow cover and stylish solid deck design with sturdy construction, this ride gets all the attention, when with Ferrari and McLarens around. The event is mainly packed and jammed with hardcore truck fans that are swarming close to the Titan to give up close and personal inspection. Most of their comments and feedbacks are positive, drawing compliments here and there. Most of them pay detailed attention to the 18 inch rims covered in black, stating that the options made by Nissan is a solid one, and they like the total appearance of the ride. Some positive comments are also made about the oversized headlights along with the inset of the running lights, although some feel that the whole deal is a bit unbalanced. But the positive feedbacks are more than the negative reviews, so it is safe to say that Nissan is able to pull it off this time.

The Interior Cabin
Aside from the stylish and attractive exterior side, the interior cabin is getting some highlights and attention too. Nissan is trying their best to compensate with the interior look, creating balance and harmony between the exterior and the interior element. Lots of soft and light materials being used, accompanied by contrast stitching mainly on the upholstery and dashboard, and also chrome accent. You can say that the interior cabin is quite good, promising, and certainly cozy. It feels somewhat classy and exclusive, despite the fact that it is designed for a truck. The seats are comfy and plush, with easy to access instruments and consoles.

Power and Performance
Talking about a ride won’t be complete without talking about the power and ability. The ride is running on V8 turbodiesel Cummins engine with 5.0 liter capacity, delivering around 310 hp of power – which is surprisingly not very promising or great for such powerful and modern V8 engine. But Nissan hints that there is always room for improvement, and it is quite likely that they will be able to add some power into the kick. It is possible that the Cummins engine will be able to deliver total 350 hp of power in the end. But as you can expect from the Titan, this HD quality for towing is promising and solid, and you can definitely haul quite heavy loads without even have to break a sweat.

Basic Reviews
There are lots of promising and reliable pickup truck out there, with Tacoma on the same platform as Titan – not to mention that F150 will also be coming – making worthy competition against Nissan. But Nissan is quite confident about this new variant, making sure that they have done their best to deliver the wanted perfection. If public response is as good as the ones shown during Supercar Sunday event, it is guaranteed that Nissan will be the center of attention at least for this year. It would be a good idea for Nissan, however, to try widening up their variations in pickup truck line. Some of the variants are quite old school and starting to look rather classic. It doesn’t hurt if they can add a touch of modernity into their designs and variants. Changes don’t have to be grandeur, but at least visible that they are making changes.

Review New 2016 Nissan Titan

All in all, the new variant is showing off some of the classic signature, but there is also a blend of something different into the mix. From the solid stance and the promising features included into the package, hopefully the new 2016 Nissan Titan XD is able to show some sales improvement. Comparison : Nissan Frontier (Review).
